Description

Ginger Beef Bistro House has been providing full-service with delivery and takeout options in Calgary for many years and desperately needs two Waiters/waitresses for the country hills location. This position will be permanent and full-time. The physical working address is 388 Country Hills Blvd NE Unit 400, Calgary, AB T3K 5J6.
 
Job duties:
– Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages
– Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or roombillings
– Describe menu items including daily specials for customers
– Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
– Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages
– Serve food and beverages
– Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff
– Provide customer service
 
Wage: 17.00 to 20.00/hour for 30-40 hours per week. (To be negotiated) 
The Overtime will be paid as 1.5x regular pay after 8 hours per day and/or after 44 hours per week.
 
Requirement:
Education – Secondary (High) School Graduation
Experience – Experience an asset
Language – English
 
Work conditions and physical capabilities – Fast-paced environment; Standing for extended periods; Work under pressure
