Children’s ages: School age (6 -12 years), Infant (3 months – 11 months)
Work Location: Scarborough, ON
Work Site Environment: Non – smoking
Job Requirements:
Minimum Experience: 1 year
Education: Secondary (high school) graduation certificate
Language: English
Security and Safety: Criminal Record check, Reference required
Job Duties:
Bathe, dress and feed infant and children. Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents. Prepare infant and children for rest periods. Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers for infant. Take children to and from school and to appointments. Tend to emotional well being of children, instruct children in personal hygiene and social development. Prepare and serve nutritious meals. Supervise and care for children. Help children with homework. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home. Assume full responsibility for household in the absence of parents. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties. Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and house keeping duties.
