Description
Looking for a Full time In Home caregiver to work in a home located at 197A Langley BC. The main responsibility is focusing on assisting me on my activities of daily living such as ambulation,bathing,dressing,grooming,meal preparation and feeding. I have ALS also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease which requires total dependence of care. I am looking for someone who is trustworthy,caring and has knowledge about the disease.
Successful caregiver will undergo training and orientation to ensure a good resource for building a circle of help and care. The caregiver must provide high quality care to meet basic needs. Fluent in English is a must. Must provide proof that they have worked full time caregiver or in a related occupation for a minimum of 1 year ( including 6 months with the same employer during the past 3 years.
The term of the employment contract is minimum of 2 years . The caregiver will work 5 days a week: 8 hours/day:40 hours/week and is entitled of 2 days off a week.
Salary is 20 CAD/hour. This position is for live in basis. WCB benefit upon start of work.
