Cuppa Joe Coffee Roasters is a coffee shop in Burnaby BC and is need of Food Service Manager (1 position) to add to their diverse, reliable and energetic staff.



Job Location: 1899 Rosser Avenue suite 105 Burnaby, BC V5C 6R5

Workplace information: On site

Salary: 25.00 hourly / 40 hours per Week

Terms of Employment: Permanent employment Full time

Employment Conditions: Flexible Hours

Start date: Starts as soon as possible

Job Requirements

Overview

Languages: English

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.



Responsibilities

Tasks: Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies, Evaluate daily operations, Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget, Monitor revenues to determine labour cost, Monitor staff performance, Plan and organize daily operations, Set staff work schedules, Supervise staff, Train staff, Conduct performance reviews, Cost products and services, Organize and maintain inventory, Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, Participate in marketing plans and implementation, Leading/instructing individuals, Address customers' complaints or concerns, Provide customer service

Supervision: 5-10 people
