Job Duties:

  1. Prepare and cook food items according to recipe and quality standards.
  2. Assist in the planning and development of menus.
  3. Ensure that all food preparation and food handling practices are in compliance with food safety regulations.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.    
  5. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and timely meal preparation. Follow proper food storage procedures to prevent spoilage and waste.
  6. Monitor inventory levels and notify management of any shortages and discrepancies.
  7. Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience: Will train
