Wage: $15.80 to $17.50 / hour (To be negotiated)

Vacancies: 1

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time 30 to 44 hours / week

Start date: As soon as possible

Personal Suitability: Team player

Benefit: 4 percent of total wages for vacation pay

Job requirements

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 month to less than 7 months

Job Duties

• Prepare, heat and finish simple food items

• Package take-out food

• Assist kitchen staff to unload food supplies from delivery trucks

• Clean and sanitize the kitchen work surfaces, cupboards, and storage area

• Properly wash and dry all utensils, cooking instruments and cutting boards

• Neatly put away all utensils, cooking instruments, dishes, and cutting boards in their respective places

• Remove garbage, replace garbage bags, and wash garbage cans

• Store ingredients and food items in accordance with food safety standards
