Description
SUNFOOD MARKET INC is looking to fill a permanent, fulltime position of 03 Cashiers who can perform the following, (Noc # 65100)
Job Duties:
• Operate cash register
• Process money, cheques and credit/debit card payments
• Scan items
• Tabulate total payment for goods or services required
• Receive payment for goods or services
• Calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales
• Suggestive selling
• Stock shelves and clean counter area
• Greet customers
• Accept reservations or take-out orders
• Assist theatre patrons with seat selection
• Attend to hotel safety-deposit boxes
• Wrap or place merchandise in bags
• Weigh produce and bulk foods
• Provide customer service
• Assist customers with self-checkout
• Calculate foreign currency exchange
• Monitor all entrances and exits, request proof of payment when necessary
• Participate in promotional activities
• Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol or tobacco products
Job Requirements:
• Secondary High School
• 1 to less than 2 years of Relevant Experience
Wages:
$17.40 Per Hour/ 40 Hours per Week
