YVR exterior Ltd. located at 3357 Street troy place Colwood, BC V9C 3J3 is looking for Carpenter to join their team at the earliest.



Positions available: 1

Job type: Permanent, full time

Salary: $34/hour

Language: English



Duties:

• Read and analyze blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand specifications and determine material needs

• Create layouts in accordance with building codes, utilizing measuring tools

• Construct base and foundation, install beams, lay subflooring

• Construct walls and roofing systems according to building design

• Measure and cut components of required dimensions, including installation of doors, stairs, and hardware

• Monitor and mentor other workers, including training newly hired employees

• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join wood, wood substitutes, and other materials

• Maintain material and project completion records and report to supervisor

• Prioritize safety at all times on the worksite



Job Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school is required.

• 2 to less than 3 years of relevant work experience is required.
