Description
We are looking for a Cafe Manager for Sweet Gallery located at 350 Bering Avenue Etobicoke, ON M8Z 3A9, Canada.

JOB DUTIES:
Manage the overall day-to-day operations of the café, including staff supervision, scheduling, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and ensure smooth workflow in all areas of the café.
Recruit, train, and supervise staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies and maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and food safety.
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and maintaining a friendly and efficient service environment.
Innovate and introduce new menu items that align with The Sweet Gallery’s brand and customer preferences.
Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as flour and sugar, and make appropriate orders within budget. Maintain proper inventory controls to reduce waste and optimize costs.
Track sales, manage budgets, and control costs, including labor and operational expenses. Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to maximize profitability.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, health codes, and workplace safety guidelines.
Develop and implement marketing strategies, including promotions, social media engagement, and loyalty programs, to attract and retain customers.
Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of café equipment, furniture, and premises. Coordinate repairs and servicing as needed to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for customers and staff.
Foster relationships with local businesses and community organizations to increase brand presence. Organize and participate in local events to promote the café.
Maintain a lean and orderly cooking station and adhere to health and safety standards.
Prerequisites:
Education: Secondary School or equivalent experience
Experience & Skills: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
Language: English
Annual Salary: $ 59,000 to $ 62,000 for 30 to 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay,
