Job roles and responsibilities:

• Preparing surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and filling holes or cracks to ensure a smooth and even painting surface.
• Identifying and resolving any issues or challenges that arise during the painting process, such as adhesion problems or color discrepancies.
• Inspecting completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications.
• Communicating with project managers, contractors, and other team members to coordinate work activities and ensure project deadlines are met.
• Adhering to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others on the job site.
• Maintaining and cleaning painting equipment and tools to ensure they function properly and remain in good condition.
• Cleaning up work areas and properly disposing of materials, including leftover paint and hazardous waste.
• Performing finishing touches such as trim work, touch-ups, and detailing to ensure a high-quality final product.
• Applying protective coatings such as sealants or varnishes to protect surfaces from moisture, UV rays, or other environmental factors.
• Ensuring that paint colors match specified samples or customer preferences.
• Applying primer to surfaces before painting to ensure better adhesion and durability of the paint.
• Applying paint to surfaces using brushes, rollers, or sprayers. This includes applying multiple coats as needed for coverage and finish.
