Job roles and responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and fulfill staffing requests from client companies across various industries (e.g., warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, and hospitality).
  • Maintain close communication with client managers to understand ongoing and urgent labor needs.
  • Post job openings on relevant job boards and recruitment platforms to attract suitable candidates.
  • Screen applications, conduct brief interviews, and shortlist candidates based on client specifications.
  • Maintain and update an internal database of workers, tracking their availability, skillsets, and job preferences.
  • Assign workers to shifts or job sites based on availability, skill match, and location.
  • Ensure all assigned staff receive job confirmations, site addresses, uniform/PPE requirements, and shift instructions.
  • Track attendance, lateness, and no-shows; coordinate replacements or on-call workers as needed.
  • Liaise with payroll and HR departments to ensure accurate time reporting and worker documentation.
  • Provide new hires with orientation on workplace expectations, safety procedures, and agency policies.
  • Follow up with both clients and staff to gather feedback and resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain compliance with Ontario labor laws, health and safety standards, and client-specific requirements.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as timesheet collection, record-keeping, and shift reporting.
