Working Hours: 40hrs per week, 5days a week

Wage: $20.00 ~ 22.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Over the past 21 years, Zaatar W Zeit passion for Mediterranean cuisine has only grown, encouraging modern Lebanese fare on the international map. We are currently looking for a full-time Food Service Supervisor. The ideal candidate will excel as team player and will work well under pressure in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

Main duties

• Oversees the daily food service steps (greeting, taking orders, packing orders, handling payments)
• Handle shift schedules for food service workers and assign them tasks on daily basis
• Coordinate frequent workplace inspections
• Plan menus and determine related food and labour costs
• Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of worker
• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
• Participates in menu preparation, ensuring menus are updated and recipes are revised
• Ensuring all equipment is clean and maintained
• Communicate positively and enthusiastically to the restaurant patrons and address their issues promptly

 Employment Requirements

• Completion of secondary school
• Flexible availability for weekends & holidays
• Food safe level 1
• 2-3 years of experience in food preparation/customer service is required
