Main duties

  • Direct the strategies, analysis, forecasting and budget management.
  • Establish objectives for the company and formulate or approve policies and programs
  • Determine the company's mission and strategic direction as conveyed through policies and concrete objectives which are met through the effective support service for Blackball Franchises all over Canada.
  • Evaluate financial reporting systems, accounting procedures and investment activities; Recommend improvements to procedures, operating systems, budgets and other financial control functions for management for Blackball franchises throughout Canada.
  • Prepare or coordinate the preparation of financial statements, summaries, and other cost-benefit analyses and financial management reports for Blackball Franchises.
  • Developing brand promotion models and strategies for Blackball and creating presentations for the board of directors summarizing findings and recommendations. Working collaboratively across the entire Franchises to compile and manage brand growth strategy.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of marketing in relation to established objectives, through support service to Franchises.
  • Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations and forecast data to determine support service progress and results toward stated goals and objectives to Franchise;
  • Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
  • Allocate material, human and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs; establish financial and administrative controls for global support service; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall personnel planning
  • Represent the company, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the company, in negotiations or other official functions.
  • Oversees company support service to review operating reports and resolve operational problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays and to meet future growth;
  • Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff.
  • Recruit, organize, train and manage staff.
  • Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions or departments
  • Report to board of directors

 

 

Employment requirements

  • A university degree in a relevant field of business administration, commerce, marketing, economics from an accredited university is required
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field will be an asset.
  • 5+ years of senior management experience is required.
  • Candidates with prior experience of senior management will be given a priority.
  • Exceptional time management skills, attention to details, team player and leadership skills.
  • Ability to multi- task, independence and prioritise is a must
