Carpenter Helper
Wage Rate: $24.00 /hour, for 37.50 Hours per week
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time (Overtime, Weekend, Day, if required).
Work Location: Unit 18, 13295 72 Avenue, Surrey, BC, V3W 2N5 (Candidate is required to work at various locations as per the company’s contracts)
Language: Basic Knowledge of English.
Start Date of Employment (Approx.): As soon as possible.
Education: Not Required. High School an asset.
Experience: Not Required. We will provide paid training.
Positions Available: 2
Job Duties:
• Load, unload, and transport construction materials.
• Help with pre and post checks of the environment and machines in the warehouse.
• Assist Cabinet Maker with selecting the adequate materials and piece sorting. Help organize the pieces for the cabinet maker to ensure a smooth cabinet making process for the Cabinet Maker.
•The Cabinet Helper will just need to review the cabinet plans to ensure the correct hardware is provided in the draw plans.
• Clean and pile salvaged materials.
• Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction. Assist with cleaning fine dust and debris from machine sensors to ensure smooth operation.
Additional Skills:
Should be able to work under pressure, Multitasking, able to handle heavy loads, Team Player, Attention to detail.
• Forklift Certificate is an asset.
