Position Info:

• Position: Cook
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $25.00~$28.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 2
• Work Location: 4018 Cambie Street, Vancouver, BC V5Y 2H5

Benefits:

• 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Prepare and cook entire meals and individual dishes and food items
• Keep track of food, supplies, and equipment inventory and records
• Order kitchen supplies and equipment
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
• Keep the kitchen and work area clean and sanitized
• Plan menus, determine the sizes of food portions, and estimate food requirements and expenses
• Recruit and train other kitchen staff in the methods of food preparation, cooking, and handling of food
• Oversee kitchen operation

Job requirements:

• Language: English
• Education: Completion of Secondary School is required
• Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experiences are required
