Wages: $36.00 CAD per hour

Duration of Job: Full time, Permanent

Main duties

• Do regular maintenance like oil changes, lubrication, and tune-ups.
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems including fuel system, brakes, steering and suspension, engine and drive train, emission control and exhaust, cooling and climate control, and electrical and electronic systems using hand tools and other specialized automotive repair equipment under supervision
• Inspect mechanical and electrical systems to identify faults, malfunctions, or wear
• Operate and test vehicles and systems to verify repair effectiveness
• Consult with supervisor to confirm diagnostic findings and determine appropriate repair or replacement actions
• Perform routine scheduled maintenance services in accordance with vehicle manufacturer and company guidelines
• Document inspection findings, repairs performed, and parts used in detailed service reports
• Communicate effectively with the supervisor and team regarding ongoing repairs, challenges, or required parts
• Ensure all work is performed safely and complies with company policies and industry standards
• Carry out additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor

Employment requirements

• Completion of secondary school
• At least three years work experience in the same role is required.
• Canadian registered apprentice as Motor Vehicle Mechanic will be considered as an asset and will be given priority.
