Child Caregiver-Private home

Description

We are looking for a full-time and permanent Child Caregiver-Private home to help take care of our children at 6615 Swanson Pl, Surrey, BC V3W 6G2 Canada. (Even though this is a fulltime position, we encourage part-time job seekers to apply as well). Salary is 19 dollars per hour and no. of hours are 40 per week.
 

Job Duties:

• Supervise and care for children
• Bathe, dress and feed children
• Plan, prepare and serve meals for children and may perform other housekeeping duties
• Oversee children's activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed by employer
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
• Instruct children in personal hygiene
• Tend to the emotional well-being of children and support their social development
• Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
• Provide age-appropriate educational training through organized activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings
• Take children to and from school and appointments

Employment requirements: Completion of secondary school is required. Childcare or household management experience is an asset.
