Construction Helper

Description

Paramount Exteriors Ltd., located at 258 Derby Place, Nanaimo, BC, V9R 6H3, is looking for two permanent full-time, 40-hour-per-week Construction Helpers to help us with our construction projects.

Duties and responsibilities:

·         Load, unload and transport construction materials

·         Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades

·         Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt

·         Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs

·         Level earth to fine grade specifications

·         Clean and pile salvaged materials

·         Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites

Worksite environment

·         Noisy

·         Dusty

·         Outdoors

Requirements:

·         No education required

·         On the job training available

Remuneration:

·         $23.80 per hour for 40 hours per week permanent contract
