Maple Tree Children's Centre is located at 1075 Pandora Ave, Victoria, BC V8V 3P6.

Position: Early Childhood Educator Assistant
Wage: $21.25~$26/hr
Types: Full-time, Permanent
Working hours: 30~40 hrs/wk
Benefits: 4% of Vacation pay

Job Duties:
- Assist co-workers in housekeeping and cooking duties
- Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
- Maintain daycare equipment
- Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
- Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records
- Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs and preparing crafts
- Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
Job requirements:
– College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3months to less than 1 year
– Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
– Emergency child care first aid and CPR
Criminal record check required
Language at Work: English
