CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

The Chief Technology Officer will lead the development and execution of the company’s Generative AI and Vision AI strategy tailored specifically for Canadian industries. This includes conducting in-depth market research to identify key opportunities for AI adoption across healthcare, finance, retail, and manufacturing sectors. The CTO will design and oversee AI governance frameworks to ensure that all AI deployments meet the highest standards of safety, ethical practice, transparency, and compliance with Canadian legislation, including PIPEDA and provincial regulations such as PHIPA.

This role also requires building and implementing risk management practices, ensuring model interpretability, and providing oversight on responsible data usage. By identifying integration points where AI can deliver efficiency, scalability, and innovation, the CTO will support Canadian enterprises in adopting AI solutions that align with both business priorities and national regulations.

The CTO will lead end-to-end enterprise AI product development, ensuring all solutions are enterprise-grade, scalable, and secure. This responsibility includes overseeing system architecture design, deployment, and integration of AI platforms into diverse Canadian business environments.

The incumbent will ensure that AI products are customized for the Canadian market, Compliance with Canadian data residency, privacy, and cybersecurity requirements will be a cornerstone of product development.

The CTO will also be responsible for defining key performance indicators, overseeing product testing, and managing quality assurance processes. Their leadership will ensure that all AI products deliver measurable business value while maintaining strict compliance with Canadian laws.

Beyond technical leadership, the CTO will serve as a senior business leader, engaging directly with Canadian enterprises to demonstrate the value of AI technologies. The role includes active participation in pre-sales discussions, providing technical insights during RFP responses, and developing tailored proposals for Canadian clients.

The CTO will play a pivotal role in revenue generation by supporting client acquisition and developing trust-based relationships with executives across sectors. They will also represent the company at Canadian trade shows, industry forums, and conferences to showcase AI innovations and attract new business opportunities.
