I have an opening for a full-time Caregiver for a person with disabilities in Vancouver, BC. I am seeking someone who is reliable, dedicated, and respectful of the job duties this position entails. On-the-job training will be provided.
Job Summary

 Position type:                    Permanent, full time
 Work schedule:                 30-40 hours per week
 Work location:                  2929 Nootka Street, Vancouver, BC, V5M 4K4
 Salary:                                 $23 per hour
 Benefits:                             4% vacation pay; 2 weeks paid vacation after one year
 Required language:         English
Job Duties& Responsibilities
- Perform personal and health-related duties including peri/bowel/bladder care and changing wound dressings.
- Provide emotional support and companionship.
- Assist in bathing and taking showers, and dressing/undressing.
- Prepare meals and assist in feeding.
- Perform regular housekeeping duties including cleaning the bathroom and doing laundry.
- Assist in shopping, including preparing shopping lists, buying goods, and bringing them to the home.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Minimum secondary school graduation.
- Previous experience preferred.
- Related education e.g. in healthcare preferred.
