Headquartered in Mississauga Ontario, Systems With Intelligence provides clients with critical alarms and data to ensure they are always aware of the status and conditions of their remote sites and assets. 

Systems With Intelligence is currently looking for an IT Consultant to join their team based out of Mississauga Ontario.  

The IT Consultant is responsible to analyze, test and assess client systems’ requirements, develop and implement various plans, policies and procedures, and provide advice on a wide range of information systems and software issues. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
·       Design, develop, test, implement and oversee IT systems
·       Collect and analyze data to identify areas for improvement within client organization's IT infrastructure
·       Review existing IT systems and internal processes
·       Continuously monitor networks, servers, and systems for potential security threats, vulnerabilities, and performance issues
·       Develop quality assurance procedures and tests for the development and improvement of new and existing systems
·       Lead efforts to ensure the company’s IT systems and procedures adhere to Security Operations Centre controls and criteria
·       Work closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, HR, etc.) to ensure systems meet operational needs while adhering to security and compliance requirements
·       Identify, analyze and document discrepancies and ensure that appropriate adjustments are made
·       Perform preventive maintenance tasks on computer systems
·       Administer and maintain the company’s IT systems, including servers, databases, cloud environments, and network infrastructures

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:  

·       Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer systems engineering, software engineering or completion of a college program in  computer science is preferred.
·      2 or more years of experience as an IT Consultant is required.
·      Ability to interact with people effectively and in a professional manner.
·      Technical administrative experience is an asset.
·      Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
·      Must be proficient with computers, especially Microsoft Office Suite (required).
