Education:
No education required
Experience:
A minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Rope Access Technician or in a related supervisory role involving industrial, commercial, or infrastructure work at heights required
Language:
Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of rope access technicians working on building exteriors, bridges, towers, industrial plants, and other difficult-to-access structures.
Plan and organize work methods to meet project timelines, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Coordinate work with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
Provide technical direction to workers, resolve on-site issues, and recommend measures to improve productivity, safety, and quality of work.
Oversee and participate in warehouse operations, including:
Inspecting, maintaining, and preparing equipment before dispatch to job sites.
Coordinating inventory control, rigging kits, and logistics for upcoming projects.
Ensuring that all ropes, harnesses, tools, and rescue systems are certified and properly documented before use.
Requisition, receive, and track materials and supplies required for jobsite operations.
Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and performance reviews to maintain compliance and crew readiness.
Prepare work progress reports and maintain detailed records of equipment inspections and site activities.
Supervise and mentor rope access apprentices, helpers, and general labourers assisting on projects.
Working Conditions
Work is performed outdoors and at height, often under varying weather conditions.
Must ensure strict compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
