Jay Kang CPA Ltd. in Langley, BC is looking for an experienced and full-time Accounting Technician.

Conditions

• Position: Accounting Technician (NOC 12200)
• Full-Time, Permanent position
• Hourly Wage: $26.11 per hour
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours per week
• Vacation: 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% gross salary
• Number of Positions: 1

Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school is required
• Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field OR completion of other related programs or combination of courses and experiences
• Language: English

Job Duties:

• Perform monthly/quarterly/yearly bookkeeping for clients through accounting software (i.e. QuickBooks Desktop, QBO, Sage or Excel) including various reconciliations
• Prepare interim financial statements for clients as required
• Prepare Record of Employment (ROE) as required
• Prepare and file monthly/quarterly GST/HST Returns, PST Returns and WCB Returns
• Provide payroll services to clients including preparation of paystubs and payroll remittances.
• Meet regulatory and client reporting deadlines
• Prepare T4, T4A and T5 annually
• Prepare Personal Tax Returns (T1)
• Assist with Compilation Engagements or other year-end file preparation as needed
• Other relevant job duties as needed
