Description

We are looking for well experienced “Administrative Assistant” for BEST – For A Cleaner World located at 3700 78 Ave SE Calgary, AB T2C 2L8, Canada, as well as at various location in region.

Job Duties:

Generate, input, revise, and review correspondence, invoices, reports, and related materials,

transcribing from machine dictation and handwritten sources.
• Manage the reception and distribution of incoming mail, both physical and electronic, while
coordinating the internal and external flow of information with various internal departments.
• Coordinate and confirm appointments and meetings.
• Oversee the procurement of office supplies, monitor inventory levels, and ensure adequate stock is
maintained.
• Respond to telephone and electronic inquiries, relay messages, and direct calls appropriately.
• Establish and maintain both manual and computerized filing systems to organize information
efficiently.
• Develop and implement office procedures to enhance workflow and efficiency.
• Welcome visitors and guide them to the employer or the appropriate individual.
• Ensure new hire packages are filled out accurately and forward all documents to head office.
• Support new-hire orientation and on-boarding including computer based training for new hires.
• Schedule and communicate team members’ schedules.
• Audit and approve team members’ time sheets.
• Receive work orders & prepare monthly billings for extra work requested by client.
• Coordinate training sessions/tool box meetings.
• Complete a variety of clerical functions (e.g. filing, scanning, photocopying).
• Train new hires & foster BEST’s company culture, mission, and values.
• Other duties as required per business needs.

 

Prerequisites:

Education:                             High school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience & Skills:             1 year to less than 2 years.

Language:                              English

 

Hourly Rate: $ 26.00 to $ 29.00 per Hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week

Benefits:

  • 4% Vacation Pay

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
