Sea Clippers Ltd. is a professional organization dedicated to consultation and management for Canadian immigrants and study abroad. The company is in Richmond, BC, Canada, and is developed by a Licensed Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant. We are now seeking an energetic and capable Administrative Secretary who can assist us in providing day-to-day administrative and secretarial support to our office.
Main Duties:
- Arrange and schedule appointments, meetings, and events, such as ICEF, WEFC or seminars with educational institutions
- Manage travel requirements as assigned including airfare and accommodations
- Develop and maintain a filing system
- Fill documents, and enter data and maintain databases
- Update and maintain office policies and procedures
- Provide support in all aspects of office management, including ordering supplies, managing inventory and ordering equipment repair
- Receive and screen telephone calls, and taking and distributing messages
- Greet visitors and help them find right staff member or room for their appointment
- Prepare and proofread invoices and collecting receipts
- Compose emails or other correspondence to clients, education institutes, agencies, or partners on behalf of the company
- Perform administrative tasks such as printing and copying
- Write down minutes and meeting summaries
- Respond to general inquiries concerning company’s services
Requirement:
- At least completion of secondary school
- Previous experience in office administration is an asset
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft office applications
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
