Description
Very busy professional family in Montréal, looking for a caregiver for an aged woman, who will also do housekeeping and other domestic tasks such as cooking. Permanent and full times of employment. 40 hours, 5 days per week. Hours: 8 am to 16 pm. Salary: 13,10$/h. Two days off: usually on Saturday and Sunday, but this may vary depending on the employer's shifts, so flexibility is essential for the employer. Option to stay with the employer at no additional cost. The caregiver may have to take care of the house and help the woman with her daily tasks. Languages: French or English.
Tasks: The main duty is accompanying the elderly. In addition, the caregiver will administer medications, Administer bedside and personal care, Assist clients in water (i.e. pool), Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk, Assume full responsibility for household (in absence of householder), Feed or assist in feeding, Shop for food and household supplies, Provide personal care, Provide companionship, Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
