Description

We are seeking well-experienced Audiovisual (AV) Equipment Installer and Repairer for Paramount Eventspace, a well-known events and catering firm located at 222 Rowntree Dairy Rd, Woodbridge, ON L4L 9T2, Canada. You will be required to work in various locations within the region.

Job Duties:

 

  • Install, calibrate, and test AV equipment such as sound systems, projectors, microphones, lighting rigs, and video displays to meet the unique requirements of each event.

  • Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshoot AV systems to prevent technical issues during live events.

  • Provide on-site technical support during events, promptly resolving any equipment malfunctions to maintain a seamless guest experience.

  • Collaborate with event coordinators and management to customize AV setups tailored to client specifications.

  • Assist in upgrading and expanding AV infrastructure to incorporate the latest audiovisual technologies and enhance service offerings.

  • Maintain detailed records of AV equipment installations, repairs, and maintenance schedules specific to venue operations.

  • Bring proven experience in professional AV installation and repair within event or hospitality settings.

  • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform under pressure during live events.

  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients, maintaining a service-oriented approach.

  • Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, aligned with event schedules.

  • Deliver exceptional event experiences through reliable and high-quality audiovisual support.


 

Prerequisites:

 

Education: Secondary School or equivalent experience

Experience & Skills: 3 year to less than 5 years of experience

Language: English


 

Hourly Rate: $36 to $39 per hour for 30-40  hours per week

 

Benefits:  4 % vacation pay, 

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
