Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Own Tools/Equipment Steel-toed safety boots Transportation/Travel Information Valid driver's licence
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Hand-eye co-ordination, Attention to detail, Manual dexterity
Personal Suitability: Dependability
Additional Skills: Estimate parts and labour costs, Coach and instruct apprentices
Area of Specialization: Engine repair, 4-wheel drive, Diagnostics, Alignment, steering and suspension
Automotive Service Technician Specific Skills: Inspect motor in operation, road test motor vehicles and test automotive systems and components, Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems, Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
Mechanical Repairer Specific Skills: Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, Repair or replace mechanical units or components Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
