For many years, CSN Alliance has been the choice for reputable insurance companies, car dealerships, and automotive establishments when it comes to automotive body repairs throughout the Durham region.
CSN Alliance Collision is currently looking for an Automotive Painter to join their team based out of Pickering Ontario. The Painter will be mainly responsible for finishing and repainting body surfaces of vehicles on the premises.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and report paint costs, estimates, and plan work to be performed;
- Straighten small dents using hammering, pulling and anchoring equipment;
- File, grind and sand repaired body surfaces using hand and power tools;
- Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting;
- Mix paint, blend and match colours;
- Apply primers and repaint surfaces using brush or spray guns;
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
· Minimum one year of work experience in automotive refinishing or painting and completion of a high school OR college automotive painting program required.
· Must be well organized and punctual;
· Ability to interact with people effectively and in a professional manner;
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
