Automotive maintenance equipment servicer

Switches & Thangs is a full service custom shop specialising in custom metal fabrication and turning late model drive trains into classic performance american iron.

We are looking for Automotive maintenance equipment servicers for Switches & Thangs. The main office is 12A Carson St, Etobicoke ON,M8W 3R9, Canada, You will work at 15 Millwick Dr, North York, ON M9L 1Y4, Canada.

Job Duties:

 

  • Inspect and calibrate diagnostic and repair tools to ensure accuracy and proper functionality.

  •  Assist in setting up and installing new maintenance equipment in the workshop.

  •  Support technicians and mechanics in troubleshooting issues with repair or maintenance tools.

  •  Conduct training sessions on the safe and efficient use of servicing equipment.

  •  Schedule and perform regular maintenance on shop equipment to reduce downtime.

  •  Recommend updates or replacements for outdated or inefficient equipment.

  •  Respond to equipment failures promptly to minimize operational disruptions.

  •  Verify that all equipment complies with industry standards and regulations.

  •  Maintain detailed records of equipment inspections, repairs, and maintenance schedules.

  •  Provide support for urgent repairs during unexpected breakdowns.

  •  Stay updated on emerging tools and technologies to recommend improvements.

  •  Assist in relocating or transporting heavy machinery as needed.

  •  May perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

 

Prerequisites:

 

Education: Secondary School or equivalent 

Experience & Skills:               1 year to less than 2 years of experience 

Language: English


 

Hourly Rate: $35  to $45 per Hour for 30 to 44 hours per week

 

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent

Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay
