Position Info:

·         Position: Automotive Service Technician

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $34.00~$37.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 323 North Road, Coquitlam, BC V3K 3V8

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Maintain automotive systems by adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components

·         Adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturer's specifications

·         Report and record problems and work performed

·         Examine motors in operation and test motor vehicles as well as their systems and components

·         Perform scheduled maintenance service

·         Provide customers with information about the services performed and upcoming repairs

·         Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor

Job requirements:

·         Completion of a four-year automotive service technician apprenticeship program or 3 ~5 years of work experience in automotive technology are required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
