Main duties

• Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders
• Operate baking equipment
• Bake mixed doughs and batters
• Frost and decorate cakes or other baked goods
• Ensure the quality of products meets established standards
• Draw up production schedule to determine the type and quantity of goods to produce
• Purchase baking supplies
• Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods
• Other duties as assigned

Employment requirements

• Secondary school education is required.
• Food Safety license is required
• Minimum of 6-month relevant post-secondary education or one-year work experience
• Previous work experience in the Asian dessert industry will be given priority
