We are looking for well-experienced bakers to work for Pemberton Valley Supermarket located at 7438 Prospect St., Pemberton, BC, V0N 2L1, Canada.

No. of Position: 05 

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Mix and prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, ensuring adherence to supermarket recipes and customer specifications.

• Requisition or order necessary materials, ingredients, equipment, and supplies to maintain uninterrupted production and minimize waste.

• Bake prepared doughs and batters using ovens and other bakery equipment, monitoring timing and temperatures for consistent results.

• Prepare custom orders for customers, including cakes and special baked items, accommodating specific requests and dietary requirements.

• Frost and decorate cakes, pastries, and other baked goods to create visually appealing displays and fulfill customer preferences.

• Ensure all bakery products meet the supermarkets quality and freshness standards, regularly checking for consistency and presentation.

• Safely and efficiently operate bakery machinery and equipment, including mixers, ovens, proofers, and slicers.

• May perform other duties reasonably assigned by the Manager.

Prerequisites:

Education: Secondary school certificate or equivalent

Experience & Skills: 1 year to less than two years of experience 

Language: English

Hourly Rate: $ 20.50  to $35.00 per Hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
