Position Info:

• Position: Cook
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $19.00~$22.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  2
• Work Location: 1517 Robson Street, Vancouver, BC V6G 1C3

Job Duties:

• Prepare and cook complete meals according to recipes and quality standards
• Maintain food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized
• Monitor and order ingredients, supplies, and equipment as required
• Keep records of inventory, food and all the supplies
• Participate in planning menus, food portions, and costs based on food requirements
• May assist in hiring and training new kitchen staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food
• Supervise kitchen operations

 

Job requirements:

• Language: English
• Experience: 2~3 years of experience of commercial cooking is required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
