Job Title: Bookkeeper
Position: 1 (Full time & Permanent)
Education: Secondary school required, and completion of college program related to accounting is required
Experience: 1-2 years of experience is required
Wage: $29.00/hr for 40 hours per week
Language: English- (oral and written)
Skills: Problem Solving and working with others
Duties:
- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
- Calculate fixed assets and depreciation.
- Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and
- computerized bookkeeping systems
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
- Post journal entries
- Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
- Prepare tax returns
- Prepare trial balance of books
- Reconcile accounts
