The 1401457 ALBERTA LTD. o/a Valleyview Motor Hotel/The Zoo Bar /Zoo Liquor has been operating in the town of Valleyview for 15+ years and is now hiring a full-time bookkeeper to join us:
 
Job duties:
1.Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using company bookkeeping systems 
2.Calculate and prepare cheques for suppliers, contractors, utilities and employees 
3.Prepare Daily and Monthly reconciliations to ensure all transactions are 
4.accurately recorded and reconciled. 
5.Calculate fixed assets and depreciation 
6.Maintain general ledgers and financial statements 
7.Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports as needed 
8.Work closely with accountant to prepare tax return files 
9. Prepare trial balance of books
 
Job Details:
1. 30-40 hours/week, Monday to Friday; 
2. Pay rate: 28.5$/hour
3. Employment location: 5201-50 Ave, Valleyview, AB T0H 3N0
 
The ideal candidate should possess:
1. High school diploma
2. Strong interpersonal skills and able to communicate in English
3. Basic math skills and ability to handle transactions accurately
4. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills;
5. Experience as an asset;local resident will be given priority.
