Salary: $50.83 (Current Unionized Rate for Bricklayers as of Jan. 1, 2024)

-Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate

-First Aid (Considered an asset)

Tasks:

-Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles or other masonry units

-Estimate materials, labour, tools and equipment

-Lay bricks, stone or similar materials to provide veneer facing-

-Construct and install prefabricated masonry units

-Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages

-Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools

-Lay bricks or other masonry units to build residential chimneys and fireplaces

-Restore, clean or paint existing masonry structures

Additional Info:

Looking for two (2) dependable, experienced bricklayers with hard work ethic, in residential construction areas through the GTA. English is not mandatory IF able to speak Portuguese or Spanish.
