Position Title : Butcher – Retail or Wholesale
Employment Term : Full-Time / Permanent
Education : Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience : 2 years or less than 3 years
Compensation : CAD$19.00 to CAD$22.00 per Hour
Responsibilities
- Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting
- Cut carcasses, sides and quarters
- Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat
- Wrap and package prepared meats
- Remove bones from meat
- Weigh meats for sale
- Supervise other butchers, meat cutters and fishmongers
- Grind meats
- Train meat cutters
- Make special sausages
- Prepare special orders
