Tonly Industry Ltd. in Richmond, BC is looking for a Buyer to join our team.
Title: Buyer
Employer: Tonly Industry Ltd.
Opening: 1 position (Permanent, Full-time)
Wage: CAD 24.04 per hour, At least 30 hours per week
Benefit: 4% of vacation pay or 10 days of paid vacation
Location: #11-11220 Voyageur Way, Richmond, BC V6X 3E1
Requirements:
· Completion of secondary school is required.
· Post-secondary education in business or related program is required.
· 1-2 years of previous work experience in related field is required.
Main Duties:
- Purchase products for resale including houseware and kitchenware from Asia
- Evaluate supplier options according to prices, quality etc. and determine the best choice
- Identify customer preferences and forecast consumer trends
- Negotiate product quality, contracts, shipping costs, etc. with suppliers
- Create reports on sales, budgets, and customer satisfaction
- Establish and implement supplier guidelines and obligations
