Is hiring Cabinetmakers.
Permanent, full time (40 hours per/week)
Wage – $ 22.50 CAD per/hour
Requirements: Previous experience 1-2 years, good English
Education: High school
Main duties:
Read & decipher drawings, hand sketches, specifications or cut-lists;
Measure and mark dimensions of parts prior to cutting;
Use professional hand tools and woodworking equipment to cut, shape and fabricate wooden parts and components according to blueprints;
Match materials for color, grain, or texture;
Trim component parts of joints to ensure snug fit;
Glue, fit, and clamp parts and subassemblies together to form complete unit;
Reinforce joints using different types of fasteners;
Sand and scrape surfaces; apply veneer, stain or polish to finished products.
