Description
Harman Elite Construction Ltd is looking for 2 experienced Carpenter to join the company. These are permanent positions. We are located on 12736 61 Avenue, Surrey BC V3X3M6
This are the duties that the carpenters will be performing:
- Read blueprints, drawings and sketches; ability to calculate time and material.
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools. Perform basic math operations.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.
- Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, molding and hardware.
- Knowledge of metal and wood framing.
- Work on residential and commercial projects.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements:
- The Carpenters will have at least 3 years of experience working in the field.
- Completion of Secondary School is required.
- Some industry courses in addition to the work experience would be considered an asset.
- Ability to communicate in English.
