Carpenter Helper

Sunrise Exterior Ltd. Located at 7067 123 St Surrey BC V3W 3V2 urgently requires Four Permanent & Full Time Carpenter helper. We welcome and encourage Youth, New immigrants, and Aboriginal people to apply.

 

Job duties:

 

Assist carpenters and help them in moving equipment and, provide assistance in other activities, Assist in siding installation, hardy insatallation, framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs, Load and unload wooden materials and move materials to work areas, Clean work areas, machines, and equipment, to maintain a clean and safe site, help cut lumber to specified dimensions, and drill holes in timbers or lumber, follow directions and stay on task to ensure smooth workflow, Perform other activities as directed.

 

Job Requirements 

 

No Experience required

 

Wage: $21.50 per hour for 40 hours per week along with 4% Vacation Pay.

 

Number of Positions- 4.

 

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Tight deadlines, Large workload, Walking, Bending, Crouching, Kneeling, physically demanding, standing for extended periods.

 

Work site environment: At heights, Noisy, Dusty, Hot, Cold.
