Site Location: Various sites in Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley

Job Description:

·         Interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to establish measurements and read and calculate the requirements

·         Measuring, cutting, and reshaping wood material, steel, and other wood substitutes to assemble and join them together as required

·         Build foundations, install floor beams, erect walls and roof system

·         Install door, moldings, stairs, and other hardware items

·         Lookout/help other fellow co-workers as required

·         Maintaining  and repairing residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments withi the surrounding areas

·         Provide best customer service by answering clients’/customers’ concerns regarding the job

·         May prepare cost estimates for clients

Requirements:

A combination of Three to Four years of work experience in the trade and some high school, college or industry courses in Carpentry.
