Work Location: Candidates are required to work at various locations in Lower Mainland, Greater Vancouver, Vancouver Island and Fraser Valley as per company contracts.
Wage rate: $30.50 per hour for 40 hours per week.
Education: Completion of high school is required
Experience: 1 years to 2 years of prior experience is required
Language: English
Job Duties:
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
• Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites
• Supervise other workers.
• Estimate costs and materials.
• Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.
Working setting: The candidate should be available to work full-time in the day or evening or on weekends, if required.
Working Conditions: Candidate should be able to lift weight (50lbs). Should be willing to work outdoors, indoors, and all-weather conditions.
