Description
We are hiring for an experienced “Cashier” for Handi’s Convenience located at 209 John St Moncton, NB E1C 2J2 Canada.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate cash register
- Suggestive selling
- Process money, cheques and credit/debit card payments
- Scan items
- Tabulate total payment for goods or services required
- Receive payment for goods or services
- Calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales
- Stock shelves and clean counter area
- Greet customers; Wrap or place merchandise in bags
- Provide customer service; Calculate foreign currency exchange
- Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol or tobacco products
Prerequisites:
Education: No formal education required
Experience & Skills: Experience an asset
Language: English
Hourly Rate: $ 14.75 per hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay,
