We are hiring for an experienced “Cashier” for Ultramar Gas station located at 4 Cattail Ridge Sackville, NB E4L 3S1 Canada.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate cash register.
•  Suggestive selling; Process money, cheques and credit/debit card payments.
•  Scan items.
•  Tabulate total payment for goods or services required.
•  Receive payment for goods or services.
•  Calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales.
•  Stock shelves and clean counter area.
•  Greet customers; Wrap or place merchandise in bags.
• Provide customer service; Calculate foreign currency exchange.
• Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol or tobacco products

Prerequisites:

Education:                             No formal education required

Experience & Skills:             Experience an asset

Language:                             English

Hourly Rate: $ 14.75 per hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent

Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay,
