Job Duties:
- Welcome and greet customers as they enter the liquor store.
- Determine the price of goods and services, including alcoholic drinks and calculate the total payment using an electronic cash register, optical price scanner, or other equipment.
- Receive and process payments by cash, check, credit card, or automatic debit for purchases made at the gas station and convenience store.
- Bag or wrap merchandise carefully for customers, ensuring safe and convenient handling of their purchases.
- Provide customers with information about products, services, and store policies, including details about beer, wine, liquor etc.
- Calculate total payments received at the end of the work shift and reconcile them with the total sales to ensure accurate financial records.
- Verify the age of customers when selling age-restricted items such as alcohol, in compliance with legal requirements.
- Stock shelves with merchandise and maintain a clean and organized checkout counter area to create a welcoming shopping environment.
