Royal Spice Indian Cuisine Ltd. is looking for Two Permanent, Full-time Chefs who could join us immediately. The details are given below.
Work Location: 212-815 Cloverdale Ave, Victoria, BC V8X5H9
Position: Chef
Position Available: Two (2)
Wage: $34.62 per hour
Hours per week: 30 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Job duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales and inventory
- Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff
- Supervise activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks and other kitchen workers
- Create new recipes
- Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets
- Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff
- Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions
- Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods
- Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities of several restaurants
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
Skill Requirements:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Employment: 1 year to less than 2 years
