Restaurant name: JL Sushi & Kitchen
Position: Chef, Full time, Permanent
Wage and working hours: $34.65 per hour and 30~40 Hours per week
Job Location: 140 Lonsdale Ave North Vancouver, BC V7M 2E8
Start date: As soon as possible
Job Duties:
Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff
Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales and inventory
Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food
Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods for special events
Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
Requirement:
– 3 years of experience in commercial food preparation
– Completion of Secondary school
– Able to communicate in English
